The Wardrobe of Walter White
|

About the project

As Breaking Bad neared its final season, I decided to pay tribute to the show by illustrating everything Walt ever wore. I always thought the wardrobe choices were very deliberate, and there was meaning to be found in the colors. Over the course of about a year, I painstakingly combed every episode for each outfit change. I illustrated everything I could find, even minute details such as sleeves being rolled or buttons being undone. I estimate that I put around 200 hours into the project.

I released the original version of this site in 2013, but I was never very happy with the design. It gained a pretty great deal of attention almost immediately, so I waited until it had fully run its course to update things. I'm also including high-res versions of every single outfit (something I omitted before to protect my art), and putting it all under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 license . Basically you can do what you want with the art as long as you credit me and you're not making money from it.
